The GSTC Secretariat is pleased to announce the opening of the GSTC Board Election process as described in our by-laws (Article 5, Section 5) and Operations Manual. To review the process please click here.
First please visit the Candidates page to learn about each candidate. Then click on VOTING FORM to make your selections. On the ballot you will be asked to list your choices in order of preference. Click on the box to see a drop down menu listing the candidates’ names.
VOTING WILL BE OPEN FROM 1 July, 2011 – 15 July, 2011.
Once the voting period closes the Election Committee will validate the election results and deliver a report to the Secretariat who will announce the results no later than 22 July, 2011.
It is important to have a diverse board membership to ensure that all stakeholders are represented as fairly as possible. The GSTC Board is a dynamic, active organization whose dedication and experience ensure the continuing success of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
