The 2022 GSTC Asia-Pacific Conference will take place on September 15th & 16th at Gunsan Saemangeum Convention Center (GSCO), Jeollabuk-do, South Korea.
Participants are welcome to join the complimentary post-conference technical tour on September 17th (10:00-16:00).
Participants should arrive Gunsan by September 14th. More details below.
Ranked world’s longest man-made sea dyke of 33 kilometers long, Saemangeum area is one of the biggest land reclamation projects in history (about 400 km², roughly two-thirds the size of Seoul). With dynamic development, Saemangeum has its growing potential to be a strategic positioning for Yellow Sea Rim and it is attracting a lot of interest among the world business.
Saemangeum area is located in the province of Jeonbuk. Much of rural Jeonbuk is parkland, where you can stretch your legs on any number of fantastic hiking trails, from the steep peaks of Naejangsan National Park to the gentle hills of Seonunsan Provincial Park. There’s also skiing on the slopes of Muju to the east and sandy beaches on the West Sea, from where you can catch ferries to sleepy islands.
