meeting.jpg  Madrid, Spain (October 15, 2013) – Luigi Cabrini, Director-Advisor of the  Secretary-General of UNWTO on Sustainability and GSTC Board Member, and    Mauro Marrocu, GSTC CEO, met with Frank Oostdam, ANVR Director, and Gerben  Hardeman, ANVR Project Manager Sustainable Tourism, at UNWTO  Headquarters in Madrid.

  The GSTC and ANVR recently formalized an alliance through a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). According to the MoU, the      

two  organizations established a working relationship to collaborate on projects for a period of two years. “We had a very fruitful meeting, and welcomed once again ANVR's interest in the GSTC, and in pursuing further developments in our cooperation and stronger links” expressed Mauro Marrocu.

The top level team officially met for the first time in person, and focused on agreement details, joint advocacy and mutual support of the GSTC’s mission to promote sustainable tourism development on a global scale and the ANVR’s mission to combine the strength of its members in pursuit of their common and social interests, as the prominent representative of the Dutch travel industry.
